Castletown House and Maynooth College
Explore the history and heritage of Castletown House, an 18th Century Palladian Mansion and Maynooth College. Continue to the village of Maynooth to explore this University town with its noble origins. St. Patrick’s College, the ruin of medieval Maynooth Castle, and the National Science Museum.
Our tour will then take us to the Estate of Carton House, one time ancestral seat of the Earls of Kildare and Dukes of Leinster. Today Carton is home to two golf courses of international stature, the O’Meara and the Montgomerie, which hosted the 2005/06 Irish Open.
