Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens Tour

Come and enjoy an exceptional day out with a visit to the National Stud & Japanese Gardens. The Irish National Stud provide a guided tour of the Stud where many thoroughbred horses have been bred since it was formed in 1902.

The World Famous Japanese Gardens were created between 1906-1910 by the owner of the Tully Estate Col. William Hall Walker. The gardens were planned to symbolise the ‘Life of Man’ from the cradle to the grave, the significance of the Japanese Gardens is not only horticultural but also religious, philosophical and historical.
