Armagh City Tour
Take a trip to the Ancient Christian Capital of Ireland. Árd Mhacha, ‘Macha’s Height’ is named after Queen Macha, a legend warrior Queen.
This is the Orchard County of Ireland, but it is also the centre of mythical Ireland. In the 5th Century St. Patrick built the first of his two churches here.
Visiting the Armagh City Museum, continuing with a tour of St. Patrick’s Cathedral with it’s Byzantine interior decorated with Angels and Irish Saints. We will move onto Armagh’s Church of Ireland Cathedral and the burial place of Ireland’s first High King Brian Boru. We will than have time to explore the City itself.
