Carlingford Medieval Tour
Stepping back in time our tour will take us through splendid countryside. With a morning coffee stop en route, we will then continue the scenic Medieval Village of Carlingford.
Visiting St. Brigid’s Holly Well at Faughart, St. John’s Castle, The Heritage Centre and the many medieval buildings in this unique and tranquil village.
After a walk around the town and time to browse at the sailing yachts, we will pass the Windy Gap where Queen Maeve fought for the Brown Bull of Cooley against the mighty warrior Cuchulainn, on a scenic tour of the Cooley Peninsula and the beautiful Mourne Mountains.
